Marbled Metamorphosis is a workshop that will give students the courage to cut, fold, glue, shape, and transform their freshly marbled papers into new forms and functions!
In Bespoke Matter, five artists explore traditional decorative arts through untraditional lenses. Including pieces representing furniture, wallpaper, decorative plates, porcelain vessels, and tapestry, the artworks on display push the boundaries of craft, decorative arts, and traditional mediums.

Free the Sheet is a workshop that will give students the courage to cut, fold, glue, shape, and transform their freshly marbled papers into new forms and functions!
Co-taught with Steph Untz, this workshop will include one day of bookmaking and the next day watercolor painting en plein air in your new handmade book!
This three-hour workshop will teach you how to transform your flat sheets into elegant ornaments, glitzy garlands, and psychedelic snowflakes just in time for your holiday cheer.
This workshop is a one-day introduction to the centuries-old process of floating acrylic paint onto a water-based bath, creating patterns with special tools, and permanently transferring the design onto paper. You will learn all the essentials of marbling from material preparation to learning traditional patterns and playfully creating your own. You will take home many unique papers to use for whatever you wish – book covers and endpapers, collages, jewelry, origami, etc etc etc!!! Participants do not need any prior painting or other art-making experience… all you need is an interest in creating beautiful, decorative patterns using a fun and magical process!

2-day holiday bazaar I’ll be tabling at!
December 14th, 5pm-9pm: a Holiday Bazaar with arts and crafts from 25 local artists and makers. There will be music and Crime and Punishment Beer!
December 15th, 11am-4pm: Holiday Bazaar continues with an annual fundraiser for The Village of Arts and Humanities. http://villagearts.org/ $1 from each beer poured (all day) will be donated to this wonderful North Philadelphia organization. There will also be a brunch discount at Crime & Punishment - if a person makes a purchase at the bazaar - they get a 20% discount at brunch!
